Building the Body of Christ for End Times Strength

Statementfr There is only One True God eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. In the Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ. That He became God incarnate. That He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. That He lived a sinless life in perfect love and in complete and total obedience to the Will of the Father. That He died upon the Cross, the Just for the unjust, and in this as death entered through Adam, so life is granted through Jesus Christ. That He rose bodily from the dead. That He is now at the right hand of the Father. That He will return to this earth for the sake of the Church and for the salvation of Israel. The Holy Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God.In the literal interpretation of the Word of God concerning the six day creation. That all things were created by and for the Word made flesh. Man willfully disobeyed God and thusly became a sinner–thereby dying spiritually and ushering in physical death. In the Holy Spirit. That He was sent to dwell, guide, teach, and empower the believer. That He convicts the world of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment. In the manner of the Lord Himself and according to His Word: Water Baptism by immersion. That it is a pledge of good conscience towards God for everyone born again of the Spirit of God. It is an outward expression of faith.Justification is by faith (unto repentance) alone in the Lord Jesus Christ and this by the grace of God. Sanctification of those who have been justified by faith is a work of the Holy Spirit of God; it is also a progressive process through one’s willful obedience as well as discipline that is brought by God.That each member of the Body of Christ has a specific calling and gift of the Holy Spirit. That these are to be used to build up and edify the Church.In the Second Coming of Christ Jesus to this earth. That this will be announced with the shout of an archangel and with the trumpet call of God. That all believers who have died will rise from their graves and will meet the Lord in the air; Christians who are alive will be caught up with them; that the world will see Him, and mourn; and that the Kingdom will once again be restored to Israel. In The Millennial Reign of Christ when Jesus returns at His second coming. That He will rule all the nations with an iron scepter for 1,000 years prior to the final deception of the inhabitants of the earth by the devil-which will conclude in the total annihilation by fire from God of the heavens and the earth. That each believer will appear before the Judgment seat of Christ to give an account of himself before God. That judgment will take place of those who have rejected Christ and His Authority and that they will be cast into the lake of fire.In the New Heavens and a New Earth that Christ is preparing for all of those, since the foundation of the world, who placed their faith in Him. That we will live there forever with Him.

America, From Great Heights You Have FallenEven as I write, America is declining before our very eyes. Each of us that witnessed the news reports of the tragic events surrounding the Twin Towers have images embedded in our memories forever thus, a visual aid to the disintegration of our great country. For every sin committed, for every entrenched iniquity, judgment has fallen and the demise of this nation is swift and sure. A vast majority of our government officials have marginalized Christianity and the American public has voted for depravity; and as Isaiah wrote in chapter 5:"Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!" This has surely come to pass in our great country.Many claim that these ruins encompass the whole known world as if that will excuse the heinous crimes committed in full view of God and angels in this once great country of America. One could believe it was just a few that spoil the whole bunch if it were not so blatantly apparent that wickedness is vogue today. In the stores, on the streets, in private homes, public schools, and yes, the vast majority of the churches that dare claim an allegiance to a Holy God, impiety and filth are the norm not the exception. I could cite some incidents that have happened in very 'average' churches that would shock some of you but, I refuse to give such any space on this website.What is the answer, what can be done, what will be done? The time has come that only God alone can respond to the transgressions that cannot be hidden any longer but are laid bare for every eye to see; and what will His answer be? Total destruction giving her double for her iniquity that has reached the heavens in such a short time. God has granted a space of time in which He permitted the space needed for repentance as He did with Jezebel at Thyatira - this is called grace.But, do we think for one moment grace brought the repentance needed to save this nation and the vast majority of the populace? No, it did not, God in His great mercy waited but soon, the trumpet will sound and Jesus will appear to redeem His people from the earth and all will know that He alone is Lord of lords and King of kings; and the New Jerusalem will dwell in peace. Those that tried to hinder and harassed God's chosen people and the Christians, will come face to face with their maker to be judged with the rest of the unregenerates throughout history; those that believed the lie that there was another way to God. Christian, darkness cannot stand the light - expect your seemingly safe little world to be dismantled before your eyes and finally accept the words of Jesus that those that would live Godly in Christ Jesus would be persecuted; get ready and stay ready for the day is at hand and we are witnessing the events that are ushering in the same treatment, the same persecution the apostles and prophets received as those that live in hostile countries know all too well even now.But, many refuse to believe any of this could come to our country and hold on to false doctrine thinking to take a swift flight out of here before the tribulation goes from bad to worse. Ask yourself this question? Whom do you suppose is the author of what has taken place thus far on the earth? Storms, tornados, floods, hurricanes, volcanoes, fires, atmospheric disturbances, earthquakes, and the like? Can anyone deny the frequency with which these are occurring throughout the world? Do we think for one moment Satan or any demon has that control? Do you really believe that God would allow for hap stance or fate?It is the God We Trust that we have offended and brought all this evil on ourselves; it's the piling up to heaven the iniquity that insults a Holy God; He that provided a great nation in which to function normally and have the freedom to live life according to truth and righteousness.No one, absolutely no one, should be surprised at the judgment that America is receiving; if you are, then your heart is not right before God for why do you believe He should look the other way and view sin so lightly? Many have lived their lives in the last fifty years like the frog in the pot; allowing the questionable filter into their minds and hearts on a daily basis - measuring righteousness by another standard not God's. Arguing that they have a right to pleasure and excess means of survival for surely God blesses in the material as well as the soul, little knowing that the prosperity that has been enjoyed to the excess was not a blessing but a curse; not from God but from the god of this world that set them up for a great fall. For many there is nothing left to be said. All the appeals have been spoken, all the petitions have been written, all the scriptures have been expounded over and over and over and yet, a deaf ear is turned, a blind eye is redirected to self righteousness and hypocrisy an inward satisfaction that all will be well....Church examine yourself - then take a look at the world and see if there are any similarities and that you are guilty of not coming out of her and find yourself covered with spots and wrinkles. Thoughfr God of Mercy Psalm 51: 1-13 Have mercy on me, O God,because of your unfailing love.Because of your great compassion,blot out the stain of my sins.Wash me clean from my guilt.Purify me from my sin.For I recognize my rebellion;it haunts me day and night.Against you, and you alone, have I sinned;I have done what is evil in your sight.You will be proved right in what you say,and your judgment against me is just. For I was born a sinner—yes, from the moment my mother conceived me. But you desire honesty from the womb,teaching me wisdom even there. Purify me from my sins, and I will be clean;wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.Oh, give me back my joy again;you have broken me—now let me rejoice.Don’t keep looking at my sins.Remove the stain of my guilt. Create in me a clean heart, O God.Renew a loyal spirit within me. Do not banish me from your presence,and don’t take your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation,and make me willing to obey you. Then I will teach your ways to rebels,and they will return to you.*************************************From our Psalm today we can see how David, being repentant over his sin - tries to find solace in the fact that God could use what he learned through his, dark night of the soul, to help others in sins of like kind.Romans 8:28 Tells us that all things work together for good for those that love God and are called according to His purpose...Yes, even when we sin. God does not erase our names out of the Book of Life because of a besetting sin. He allows us to come to the end of ourselves, He let's us see how our sin has a negative impact on other lives, and if we are wise we will allow Him to 'play the movie' to the end and see the results of our sin. Not a happy ending no matter what the sin is or who you are.If you are a child of God, He is your Father, He disciplines us as His children and remember, He takes what we have learned through our struggle of besetting sin and turns it to good. David points one way good comes from repented sin. Ps. 51:13 "Then I will teach your ways to rebels, and they will return to you."Who is the expert when you've been a slave to a particular sin that is like a monkey on your back? Who can speak with passion and zeal, with a heartfelt message of what God can do in setting one free and making all things new? Who can have the patience and love spread abroad in the heart by the Holy Spirit but one who has walked a mile in the same shoes? Therefore, don't lose heart and berate yourself for having had a besetting sin or a sin you are ashamed of in your life...but rejoice that God can and will use you to set the captives free. Amen
