Proverb 31:11

Proverb 31: 11 “The heart of her husband trusts in her, and he will have no lack of gain.”

Unfortunately many women today cannot be trusted. There is almost always a hidden agenda for the things that say and do. Even down to ‘Get this task over with so I can do my thing.”

How does one come to have trust in a person, any person let alone a wife?

This is a wife that does not lie and always carries through with what she said she would do. No one can trust a person that has lied to them one time - let alone on a constant basis no matter what the excuse.

A husband can trust his wife because she is: a born again child of God; without this he has no basis in this world to trust her. He can trust in her because she is committed to her God first, then husband and family. She will only treat the husband and family as she treats God.

This my friend comes by observation. Do I mean she has her time taken up by running to a church all the time spending hours on end ‘serving the church”? No, she does the things wives and mothers do everyday - consistently without whining and holding it over her family’s head because she is ‘giving up her life for them’.

Her husband trusts her in his heart because her heart is clean, and her thoughts are pure. She doesn’t lust after the world especially money and men. She is not taken up with being smitten by the attention others may give her on occasion and she doesn’t dress or act in such a way as to be flirty or draw attention to herself. She doesn’t spend the money of frivolous things in order to ’just be spending money’ because it’s there. She is prudent in all things and protects the husband’s earnings with her wisdom.

Her husband trusts her because he sees she is not willing to spread rumors and talk about family, friend, or neighbors to say things she wouldn’t say to their face. When a woman is given to gossip - no one should trust her let alone her husband; therefore, unless a women is truly born again and practicing the revealed Word of God, she is not worthy of trust.

A husband will have no lack of gain…Right away we think in terms of money. Although a righteous heart that makes every penny count will be rewarded by God - this is not the meaning here. There is more to gain in this world besides money. A Godly woman - will be rewarded in this life also by her God.

God will fill her husband with wisdom and knowledge to compliment her willingness, her obedience to God to be all she knows to be and do for her family. God will make a way and show her how to do what she doesn’t know how to do. He has already provided a sensitivity in a mother and wife to be alert to the physical and emotional needs of her husband and children. A worldly woman cannot do this to perfection because she is not led of God by His Holy Spirit.

There are woman that never take care of their husband or family in the correct way. The house is always a mess, the yard has no flowers or plants, there is no ‘woman's touch’ to the house at all. She watches T.V. or spends her daytime in ‘day-dreaming’…..a fantasy world of fiction books or wishing she were someone else.

A husband of this Proverbs wife…never lacks gain….he is always growing himself spiritually, right beside his wife; he gains knowledge and understanding  as the Bible exhorts him to have to live with his wife making a life for both of them; a home for the children to grow up in - the memory building life that their children can look back on and say: "We had a good life because of mom…and because of dad".

Unfortunately in the churches today we see the total opposite of what is described here. If one or the other is not a true born again Christian - and one has followed the Lord and been all they should be....God will judge the one that is not. Why? the two have become one....and corruption comes from unrighteousness to the other; therefore, wait...if you are righteous and the other is not....for God does deliver.
