I stood and watched from afar,
Not ready to accept
the warning,
I said, “We have time -what’s the hurry?
I have things to do, so don’t worry!"

“You’re
ridiculous and carrying this too far!”
God wouldn’t tell you to leave your family,
Why, your not acting
like a normal granny!”
“Come and sit down and rest awhile,
Why, you
know we always have ‘tomorrow’.
Everything is as it has been since time began,
We aren’t even at war
with Iran!”
“This is foolishness to the hilt.
We have plenty
of time to kill.
Our families just started,
Don’t say things that make us feel half-hearted.”
“See, the sun is shining and the clouds are white,
Why
are you leaving as if in a fright?
Time is something that we have plenty of,
Everyday dawns as gentle as a dove!”
“Oh, family members, you are all wrong,
For
the Lord our God has told me, “Be Gone!
I am coming too soon to moan and bewail,
Come, follow Me you have mountains
to scale”
"I AM on My way to end this Day,
There will be no
more days on earth,
Too many have refused to believe
And instead gone on in their mirth."
“It is time to leave all and follow ME,
Time
is too short to plant a tree.
Come now, we have a job to do,
Heaven await’s the faithful…...so few!”
